Present and way behind. I was dealing with a sick dog and unfortunately he didn’t make it. I know some my online family have recently gone through the same situation. Do you have any advice for me to help his brother adjust to being the only dog? Thanks.
Sometimes the other dog instantly adjusts and sometimes they don’t. Mine adjusted instantly. The only thing I can recommend is this;

I’m very sorry for your loss. Our female pup ignored the fact that her big brother was gone for a couple of days, then stopped eating and became very depressed. We just kept her routine the same, and gave her extra hugs. It’s a hard time for everybody, human or not.
