The US government attempted to undermine a US presidential election, and when that failed, the US government attempted to depose the president with a popular uprising based on government-planted false accusation.
And no law or regulation can prevent a recurrance.
Trump was the target of the shelling; but I GUARANTEE that Flynn was definitely destined to be a part of the “collateral damage” of that shelling!
Strzok told his FBI colleague and paramour Lisa Page not to worry about Trump being elected because “We’ll stop it.”
The rot started at the very top.......Obama basked in the power of the presidency....and its financial rewards.

The bizarre January 20, 2017 email Susan Rice wrote “to herself” purporting to document a January 5, 2017 meeting with the Obama crew gives a clue. The meeting discussed the bogus Steele dossier and Russian collusion, but curiously Rice stressed that the former president said every aspect should be handled “by the book.”
Trying to cover for Obama, Rice inadvertently confessed to committing several crimes.

My instincts all along on this told me what later facts would prove I was right about.
We - our CIA - was being played by our “friends” - the Saudis and a few Gulf states - exactly the same way they had played us when we armed the Mujahadeen in Afghanistan to help the Afghans kick out the Russians.
Our (CIA) role - supply the military intelligence on Assad, supply money arms and equipment, provide equipment and tactical training. Our “friends” role - through direct and indirect (using their friends of friends of friends) recruitment, vetting and provisioning “local” fighters. In this way, just as in Afghanistan, the CIA was blind and with heads in sand didn’t care what agendas were at work with those being recruited to fight Assad.
This is exactly how, through our “friends” the Saudis and the Pakistani ISI the U.S. role in Afghanistan helping to kick out the Russians went to the benefit of Al Queda, its many branches and cousins and eventually the Taliban.
Now we were doing it all over again in Syria.
I said it then - I “smelled” it - and I knew zero of the facts, other than this very simple set of facts:
EVERY major civil uprising against the Assad’s in Syria - EVER - has been LED by the Muslim Brotherhood of Syria. Yes there has been others pushed to be the “moderate” public face from time to time, but when pressed as to who is participating (and who was calling the shots for the majority who were participating) you always found the Muslim Brotherhood of Syria. Even openly, in 2013 in a Conference in the U.K. of all those Syrian groups fighting against Assad, it was admitted the 60% of the groups were part of or backed by the Muslim Brotherhood or more radical Islamists and in terms of fighters the percentage was higher than that.
Yet, the western media as the dutiful virtual media arm of the Obama administration continued to report the line of the “Syrian opposition” without seriously reporting that the majority of the organized fighting opposition outfits were not “moderates” but committed Islamists of the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Queda types.
Flynn didn’t even enter the picture until early 2017. They used the Russia Ambassador conversation to try to concoct a Logan Act violation. There could have been a FISA on General Flynn that we don’t know about. That seems rather unlikely. Why go to all the trouble of getting a FISA on Carter Page back in October?

Whether intended this way or not, Kennedy’s presentation completely removes any blame for the coup from Hillary Clinton. It was all about an internal IC grudge. Yeah, that’s the ticket. Nothing to do with Hillary or her cabal, and their operatives at Fusion GPS, etc.
I would never argue that the IC was not intent on ruining Flynn for the reasons listed. But the overall “plot” has multiple origins, multiple targets, multiple sets of players. Most were designed to elect Clinton, and were either done at her direction or on her behalf. It was an opportunistic dynamic game whose goals and tactics evolved along with circumstances, the only constant being that it was a Democrat operation from A to Z. First goal: Smear any Republican candidates. Second: Keep Trump from being nominated by generating bad press about investigations and leaking accusations. When Trump was nominated, they moved to wrecking his election. When elected it moved to ruining his Presidency, and borking his appointees and supporters.
A Special Prosecutor was not needed to go after Flynn or Manafort. Prosecuting them was about delegitimizing Trump.
