my problem is i live on a fixed income and still have work to do on the homestead. a 30% increase in the cost of material hits me hard.
since you brought this up, how many unemployed loggers are there in the US?

...since you brought this up, how many unemployed loggers are there in the US?... In Oregon, where I live, the spotted owl retired most of them 20 years ago.
The few that remain are being put out of business by the original BLM (Bureau of Land Management) which no longer understands that trees are a renewable resource.
