I used to be a fan of Intellicast and their weather radar, however they have been bought out by Weather Undground and have completely ruined two good sites.
Does anyone a suggestion for a good weather radar to use on a PC? I use My Radar app for my phone, but they are not PC based.
Thank you in advance.
Tks

I think a lot of the choice depends on your use of the weather. We use weather underground, because I have a personal weather station which is posted there. Since weather.com bought them, they have progressively destroyed that website and made it harder to access as well. Unless Im mistaken though, it is the only site available for those of us that have personal weather stations.
Thats a pisser!
Isnt the real culprit Big Blue?
You don’t want to be on the same planet with Accuweather—without a good adblocker. ;-)
www.windy.com
I also have a personal weather station and I wondered the same thing.....if there is another site to link my station to. I constantly have issues with WU being down but biggest issue is linking my web cam to it. Frustrating
I use Wunderground. The trick is to manually switch from their garbaged up Wundermap to the Nexrad. It doesn’t have all the features that it offered before IBM bought the site, but it is useful.
What platform? PC? Mac? Android?
I’ve been using both Weather Underground and Intellicast for 20+ years.
NBC owned Intellicast. NBC (through the Weather Channel) bought up Weather Underground.
They are just cleaning up duplication.
I’ll stick with Wunderground for now. For weather reporting, they are among the best, but, I ignore their opinion pieces.
Mud colored states how appropriate ...
Nice. Thanks
Here is my local weather website - http://daculaweather.com/
Hubby found this one. We too used to use intellicast. Tryhttps://radar.weather.gov/Conus/full_loop.php
It’s just the animated gif from their webpage.

Yeah, somehow their depiction of nexrad has escaped the weirdo re-do.

I use MyRadar also. Theyre great...too bad they arent available for PCs.
How do you go right to the location, without all the ads etc?
Example DFW.
