The Everglades should be drained and built into developed land. Why the Hell is it protected anyway? There’s nothing special about it. It’s just swamp land that has deadly creatures in it.
Develop it enough, and maybe find some remnants of Flight 19.
The Everglades and their water flow provide spawning and nursery grounds for billions of dollars worth of sea food and game fish. Having been on hikes in Big Cypress and the Everglades, I know from experience that the deadly creatures tend to avoid people. It is the mosquitoes that drive you nuts.
The Everglades is 2 to 3 feet above sea level. Just how do you propose to drain it?
