The hole doesnt need to collapse. Water is H2O. What happens when hydrogen comes into contact with super hot gasses and magma?

These people are scientists?


How hot does water have to get before it dissociates into hydrogen and oxygen (thermolysis)? That would be 3000 °C.

How hot is magma? Not much more than 1000C. Thermolysis not gonna happen.
