Yep! They talk a good game, but ultimately these hypocrites would rather take their show on the road, away from the tent cities and urban blight. I enjoyed visiting there last week, the cashier-less Amazon store was interesting, but not all that. Most of their thousands of employees probably wouldn't be caught dead in the liberal-invented dystopia of Seattle anyway, so they're probably mostly happy about this.

Formerly whitey...now it’s almost entirely Asian and Indian. Even when I lived there three years ago, it was the only city in the state where whites were a minority. My daughter-in-law used to work at Amazon and their complex is gigantic, almost as big as Microsoft’s campus in neighboring Redmond. Seattle must have really pissed them off...

Re: “Liberal hypocrites move out of their urban Seattle headquarters to the mighty whitey suburbs of Bellevue, Washington.”

IF only!

Bellevue is almost 40% foreign born.

A huge segment of that is former H-1B visa workers (Microsoft HQ is just 5 miles away in Redmond) who graduated to Green Cards or citizenship.

As to Bellevue politics....

Washington state has a “Top Two” primary system.

In 2018, our incumbent Democrat Congressman was reelected with 70% of the vote - down from 75% in 2016.

His opponent - from the Socialist Party - got 30%!

Just a couple days ago I got a donation request from the Washington state Republican Party asking me to support the 2020 candidate in my Congressional District.

LOL! - straight into the trash can.

“...to the mighty whitey suburbs of Bellevue, Washington.”

We donate to a church-sponsored school. They have something like 17 different languages in the school. I was in the Costco near Bellevue before a winter storm. Ended up talking with a young guy from India - it was this massive crowd due to the storm.

“He said - this is how India is - but all the time!”

“Yeah, in more ways than one!”

He laughed. I bet 50% of the people were from India, another 30% muslim, some other nationalities, and a few white people. In my line of perhaps 50 people there were two white people. (My wife told me to get eggs. All the other stores were out!)

Not sure what Amazon will do once Bellevue gets even more liberal, and comes up with the idea to do a head-tax.

My thoughts too - a liberal entity that espouses liberalism finds a liberal city untenable to do business from....can’t make this crap up and keep a straight face...
