On my cell phone its just as bad..I dont want to download the nomorerobo app so I just block numbers that call my phone but they still call..and leave messages, about mortgage rates, I dont even own a house LOL yet they still call..or if I want to pay less for my health care, etc etc its annoying as hell. I heard about that scam where they want you to say “YES” when they call you, a few weeks back someone claiming to be calling from Dell(Even though it said private caller) said they were calling about an issue about a recalled motherboard on my PC, kept on wanting me to say YES like “Are you near your computer” so I said “UH HUH” I knew it was bogus when he told me to reboot my computer, thats not how you find out what BIOS you have even I know that and I dont know much about hardware so I hung up on him
The biggest hoax is when someone tells you that the attempt to make you say “yes” is an urban myth. It isn’t.
Robokiller works well for me.
