“Affirming” an errant mental obsession is not “care”.
It is no different than “affirming” an addiction. It is medical malpractice.
This is not a call for a lack of sympathy and compassion for a child whose mind is making a mistake. But true compassion requires the truth, not suppression of the truth, just to avoid the difficult path of fighting the obsession.
Anyone who tries to change the confused child’s mind is considered an abusive beast.
Anyone who surgically butcher’s a confused child’s genitals and homonal production is considered a H.E.R.O..
Why is one ‘conversion therapy’ considered verbotten but the other one, which is irreversable, is considered ‘proper and good’?
