Oh yes, sharks certainly ARE carrion eaters.
They have found all sorts of weird things in shark stomachs of many species, including inanimate objects and terrestrial animals which had been cast overboard. A dead whale is a shark magnet.
I don’t believe sharks are carrion eaters.
