The burger meat in the Whopper needs improving first. I know what a hamburger tastes like when it comes from the meat counter. The texture and taste of store bought hamburger is far superior. Their flame broiling is for efficiency and little for taste.

The original Whopper was extraordinary hamburger, loaded with onions, pickles, tomato slices and a mound of shredded lettuce all wrapped in cellophane. It had an ample, tasty burger patty and I thought I had died and gone to heaven when I ate my first one. I had to use two hands to eat it as its drippings dropped on that wrapper.

Look as a vegetarian I was shocked shocked shocked the other day to get a veggie burger at Burger King ( coworkers took me there )

finally these stupid idiots have figured out to offer different alternatives to the stupid ass cow burger

Nations out here in California is my favorite place not only do they have a really good veggie burger with grilled onions but they also have a really good homemade salmon burger

Nations baybee ! Free plug !

“Forbs” wrote this about the “Impossible Burger”:

“Impossible’s soy-and-vegetable-based burger still bleeds like the traditional beef version because of an added ingredient called heme, a molecule found in nearly all living plants and animals.”

Salmon burger?

I’m a meat eater but I was always partial to eating my mother’s tuna fish patties with lettuce, tomato, pickle and lots of mayo.

Veggie burgers aren’t bad at all really. A healthier option maybe. Of course I love beans and vegetables.
But there aint nothing like the real thing!

Tried one. It was quite decent. Not wonderful but edible okay.

Hasn’t BK been losing market share for years?

When will these fast food joints realize their regular customers don’t eat the PC crap they come up with.

If I’m in McDonald’s I’m not going to ask for the ‘ Vegan Meal

If the vegans want vegetarian, they can go Mexican with their rice and beans. I couldn’t eat Mexican unless it had sour cream, cheese and meat. Now the hamburger is being made without the beef for the sake of this same type of diet deprivation. Some day the food fetish market will be eating something like the dry dog food we feed our dogs.

This concoction sounds impossible, but they are doing it. Wait until the word of what it is gets out. So you think Burger King has been subverted so when this product fails, it takes them down?

It’s not so much for the regular customers but my guess is it’s for the potential of bringing in “regulars” friends or family = expand customer base

Please don’t use the words/terms “meatless Whopper” and “behind” in the same place.

It is too reminding of Joe Biden’s approach to women.

#2. re “Why is not one making a squid burger”?

Simple, no waiter wants to ask the customer “You want ink with that?”

#30. Well “Why would McD roll out a meatless whopper”?

Maybe they sympathize with Jussie Smollett.

I thought they already had a veggie burger. I've ordered them about 7 years now. They are not on the menu but you have to ask for one.
