Man, if they only let the illegals come in and collect the freebies, none of this would have happened.

Walter O’Malley must be rolling over in his grave. When I was a kid going to Dodger Stadium was like going to Disneyland when Walt Disney was alive. Everything was clean, safe, and family oriented. Now Dodger caps and jerseys are gang accoutrements.

Fighting over a baseball game, this is what happens when people have absolutely NO life, they are willing to beat people up and kill them over a game

Posting suggestion:

Copy & paste the headline, don’t alter it.

When posters run searches to avoid duplicating a post, an altered headline means they might not pick it up.

Dodgers should have picked up all of Brian Stowe’s expenses, IMHO. And I hate the SF Giants.

Philosopher George Santayana defines fanaticism as "redoubling your effort when you have forgotten your aim". The fanatic displays very strict standards and little tolerance for contrary ideas or opinions.

Tõnu Lehtsaar has defined the term fanaticism as the pursuit or defence of something in an extreme and passionate way that goes beyond normality.

The behavior of a fan with overwhelming enthusiasm for a given subject is differentiated from the behavior of a fanatic by the fanatic's violation of prevailing social norms.

The subject of the fanatic's obsession may be "normal", such as an interest in religion or politics, except that the scale of the person's involvement, devotion, or obsession with the activity or cause is abnormal or disproportionate to the average.

In the 90’s, we would take our son to Dodger Stadium a few times a summer. We never had expensive tickets, but often were bordering the outfield, second deck, on the 3rd base side. We stopped going when the fans got so vulgar that we didn’t want to subject our son to the disgusting comments. And I guess I have to say it, they were always coming from large, middle-aged Hispanic men. Sad that it ruined the game and the experience for us.
