I started using Bing over Google as I was sick and tired of Google working with China's military, but not working with ours. They ban gun videos on Youtube. They help authoritarian countries institute censorship in search results. All the while we use them and they make money off of us. Google is Evil.
Bing rewards you for your searches no different than the credit card companies do with their rewards. Using Google with no rewards is akin to using a credit card with no rewards. And Microsoft actually is a patriotic company and does not kow tow to the leftist communist programmers. I got a $5 Amazon gift card after only a few weeks of using Bing.
Make the switch. I am glad I did.
You are absolutely welcome. I am always on the hunt for these things and even take the time to chase down who the corporate officers are and their associations. Too much deception and lying going on. :)
I just used WOWFRESH and it worked.
I always search for promo codes everytime I order anything. I’d bet it has saved me at least $1k in free delivery or 10-20% off.
Use Epic browser that hides your searches inside bing
Use Duckduckgo.com for a search engine.
NO TRACKING
not with the epic browser
Any website that has any outside third party services like Google analytics or adsense, which are the most common are doing the same thing. They are sending all this same info directly to google. There are “in house” SEO and traffic analyzers that do not. I would like to see a trend away from dependencies on these.
The only thing that helps quite a bit is getting a good cookie/script blocker and using linux’s own cloned Firefox as your browser. But you got to have Linux to use it. I keep telling people... You are never going to get close to being private until you get Linux.
bump
Been using Bing for a very long time, and use my search rewards for Amazon gift cards as well. I enjoy the photos on the home page every day too...and they honor military, and regular holidays. Definitely worth it.
You need to sign up for Bing Rewards, so you can accumulate points every day. I’ve had a total of 662,990 lifetime points so far.
Because I don’t like opening emails on my machine, I pay for domain web hosting which includes an email server. This way I can open them on their server with their security tools and it is protected by domain business commercial law.
I switched to Bing also a couple of months ago, I love the new screens they put up each day from different places around the world!!! Pictures are always beautiful and I am learning about places I never knew existed!!! Everyday I look up the place featured and learn all about it!!! I LOVED the one from Japan with all of the ice cycles just beautiful and I never knew it exsisted!!!
I hate google, I use dogpile
It is desearch, not research. Agenda before all.
Microsoft and Gates have plenty of leftist motives.
I wish that Bing would develop an Advanced function.
It’s not my first rodeo with emails. This way I need absolutely no antivirus ware or all the updates that go with it on my PC. I can safely open attachments in a very controlled isolated environment before even downloading to my machine to view or check the source code first. It is designed for and a MUST for spam you get on website scripts.
Wow, I never thought I’d legitmately get to use the phrase, delusions of grandeur in context, but you sir, are having them. I used to work for Microsoft, well, technically, I used to work for a defense contractor that had a contract to provide services to Microsoft. They are an extremely left wing company, and worked behind the scenes for sodomite marriage for decades before it was even on the generaal public’s radar. One of the bits of information I was privy to during my term providing services to Microsoft is that Microsoft was helping the government with the spying on it’s own citizens the government wasn’t allowed to do at the time. They are no patriots. amd working with the government doesn’t mean squat in terms on a company having good values, our government is up to no good more often than not.
