I’m not sure, but I think the important part of the picture is the fact that a camera (from a laptop?) is looking outward into a room. Is this being done without the laptop owners permission? Is that what Q’s post is trying to tell us? - I may be wrong, but I don’t think the goofy orange “thing” has much to do with anything.

As usual I’m late to the party so someone else has maybe figured this all out already. If so just ignore my comment.

I am clueless so the more clues people on this strange orange object the better. So maybe the orange object is not the listening/surveillance thing. Just showing that Amazon is being surveilled.
