Air Force grounds entire fleet of B-1 bombers for 2nd time in less than a year

Is something being replaced or is something being removed? To what extent have the Chinese compromised our technology, or to what extent has the DS done so?

According to the article, the problem is apparently isolated to the parachute system in the ejection seats and the stand down is intended to allow inspection to assure that ALL of those systems are correct.
There was mention of another instance of ejection seat problems “last year” (no further data supplied) which caused concern. (I’ll go diggin’ and see what that was about...)
Used to work around stuff like that and know only too well how scratchy aircrews in birds like the BONE are about their lifelines.
Put my name on that gear back in The Day and guess I’m scratchy about it as well.
