Great googelly-moogelly haven’t you heard about peanuts yet!
I am sort of joking here... But there are studies about the amount of chemicals that they have to pump into the soil and spread on top of the earth to get peanuts to actually be a production crop with profitable yields. Peanuts can grow without it but we’re talking Big-Agra here and they need lots of product being grown and they need a plentiful Harvest every year, year after year so as to not go broke.
The bad news... Peanuts in the shell retain the chemicals which soak through the shell to inside of the shell and is processed into the peanuts and into the other items that peanuts are made from.
There’s a possibility that these allergies we are seeing related to peanuts for the last several decades might be caused from chemical materials.
Let me put it to you this way... I love peanuts but after reading several bodies of research in the last few years I think I gave them permantely up a year ago finally... unkess I can grow my own... Because to be quite frank... it scared the Living Daylights out of me.
I thought it might be more prudent yo back off of foods containing lots of pesticides and in the case of peanuts - pesticides, insecticides, and herbicides.
