In 1966, my favorite station was Boss Radio 93 KHJ, which blasted Southern California with Top 40 hits at 50,000 watts. Napoleon XIV's opus was a big hit on the charts and got a lot of airplay--as did tunes like The Eggplant that Ate Chicago and Juanita Banana.

I never heard those songs before, Eggplant that ate Chicago! Yes PLEASE eat it! lol Great stuff, that’s something definitely gone in today music is humor, everyone is a poser today like their Gods gift to music when in fact it’s a snooze fest.
