I knew we were in deep trouble when I saw how much we were borrowing from China to finance the nation building.
I don’t remember the exact numbers but I was definitely taken aback.
This was a couple of years or so before the banks really went down in 2008 along with Lehman Brothers, etc.
And then along comes Barack who spends even more...

I am the last person in the world to defend Obama, but he didn't even need to lift a finger here - and the fair charge against him is that he didn't. The growth in debt and defense spending corruption was already built into the budget.
The other fair charge against Obama is that Arab spring was just as stupid and just as ill-founded as the Iraq war was. But it was the corrupt neo-cons who invented the whole thing.
There is no excuse for what Bush/Cheney did to America and they should be the first heads on pikes outside the Hall of Conservatism to remind folks what utter betrayal of principal looks like.
