I don’t believe this applies to the Medicare deduction that comes directly from your SS check. It may apply to supplemental premiums. My husband’s monthly Medicare was over $430 vs the normal $109 at one time. When he fully retired we had to fight to get it lowered.

nclaurel, I do not know the answer... if they deduct from your SS check, there must be a formula they use.
