They have a new Frosted Key Lime drink that's pretty good
It’s not much of an airport no big loss retail food outlets there number in the 8-10 range with none being a franchise.
You know “ThinkProgress” defines hate group as any religious group that upholds Biblical morality.
And they're magically going to accomplish this by being unequal and exclusive.
"We're gonna have peace even if I have to kill every one of you mofo's!"
Chick-fil-A does not ask anyone what sexual orientation they are before taking their order.
Shame on them.
>>>ThinkProgress released a report saying Chick-fil-A donated $1.8 million to groups that discriminate against the LGBTQ community<<<
Gee, what groups would those be, DiscriminateagainstLGBTQ.com and WehateLGBTQ.com?
Probably more like the GOP and some Religious Charities.
Beyond the free speech implications, I think it’s important that people realize just how bogus the underlying accusation actually is.
The past few days have seen reports in the media accusing Chick-fil-A’s foundation of donating $1.8 million to anti-gay groups in 2017. Based on the headlines, one might think that these groups were actively working against “gay rights” in at least some form. But that’s not the case.
These are the three groups:
~$1.7 million to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes
$150,000 to the Salvation Army
$6,000 to the Paul Anderson Youth Home
The Westboro Baptist Church these groups are not. The FCA’s offense, for example, is that it requires members of its ministry (not even the student athlete leaders) to sign a sexual purity pledge that includes same-sex conduct among other things. In other words, it’s a nothingburger.
What this is really about is the fact that Chick-fil-A is a successful business that lives its Christian values (and I don’t mean anything to do with gays, because Chick-fil-A both serves and hires gays). It’s closed on Sundays, doesn’t participate in offensive advertising, maintains a clean image, and encourages a positive, healthy work environment. The Left sees Christianity as an obstacle to the state, so anything that represents it in a positive light must be destroyed. In this case, the use of the anti-gay label is just a way of convincing the uninformed leftist masses (that will never look deeply into it themselves) why it’s OK for its politicians to try and destroy such a pleasant, tasty place.
I went through Terminal A back in November and looked for a place to eat. There was nothing much appealing and most were local brands, not national brands.
Did Chik Fil A even *want* to be there? Personally, I’d want to slot a restaurant that was open all seven days of the week, not six.
Chik Fil A will survive just fine without the City of San Antonio booking them at the airport. They should be happy to have their bid rejected.
San Antonio is the city of about 1000 restaurants and about 10 good cooks. I can’t tell you how many restaurants I’ve walked into that were disappointing. It’s a victory to find one that’s average.
Chick-fil-A has a tremendous customer attraction. I bet that their restaurant in the airport would have generated tremendous customer numbers. Maybe they would have had customers equal to all the other restaurants combined.
This illustrates the impact the politically correct Identity Politics has on commerce.
Except normal people.
So in the name of inclusion and equal rights the Christian business that serves all who order come to the business is banned.
That is purely evil, illegal and unamerican.
But the laws against discrimination based on creed will not be enforced on the actual bigots.
Thats illegal and unconstitutional on first amendment grounds.
GOVERNMENT MAY NOT CENSOR OR ESTABLISH A RELIGION and they have done so here.
People can make up their own minds where they want to spend their money.
“Everyone has a place here, and everyone should feel welcome when they walk through our airport,”
Except people who want Chik-Fil-A, apparently.
Heck, I’d been thinking of going there. But I’ll go elsewhere.
Banned by the Department of Inclusion and Tolerance.
No problem, I’ve been to a few cities in Texas including San Antonio and there’s not a damn thing there that impresses me.
Seems like their action is intolerance. How about we ban San Antonio? Maybe cut federal funding for said airport since it is a venue of intolerance and bigotry.
Huh. I went to a Chic Filet last week and the guy that took my order was as rainbow as they come.
