I just took my famous hamentaschen out of the oven. They are cooling. I put raw poppy seeds right into the dough, as most people use a poppy seed filling. Naw, I gotta be original. Many friends have told me that they know the hamentaschen in my goodies bags are my own and not ones I "passed along" because of the trademark poppy seeds in the dough. This year, in keeping with my clownfish theme, I cut out the hamentaschen with a star cookie cutter and lined the tops with chocolate chips. I only have a very few extra, which I will save as a Shabbos dessert. Sorry---if you were closer, I'd give you one!
