My guess is because he knows that he doesn’t actually have the support of anyone in Washington, and they are all waiting for the right moment to toss him out.
As far as I am concerned, this is a crisis serious enough to warrant defending the entire border with very lethal force.

I agree. The numbers coming in are staggering. Forget a million a year, we maybe getting that in a few months or so.
