This is THE reason I chose to watch the video the killer made. It absolutely confirmed for me what I thought. That so many of these people died because they had ZERO means of self defense. It literally was like watching fish being shot in a barrel, like an elephant stepping on ants. People completely and utterly helpless in that situation and they weren’t cowards. One guy tried tackling him but made the mistake of trying to while the killer was shooting and not reloading. But wow, obvious as hell anyone with a gun would have ended it immediately. You could tell he was paranoid about someone being armed because he kept turning around. And here they are surrendering their firearms. They just do - not - get it. Do they honestly think a crazy person is going to surrender their arms? Hell no! They are making themselves open targets
You wrote the same thoughts I had when watching the video. Here is my reaction:
“From the video, he was at the mosque for a long time. I wonder why no one got on a cell phone and notified the police. I also showed him shooting people from inside the car (with no front windshield) with what appeared to be a shot gun. Usually people would be calling police if they heard gun shots or saw him shooting from his car. And, the reality of the entire massacre is there was no good guy with a gun. One shot would have ended it. So much for creating a nation without guns. I would be a furious New Zealander after seeing how pathetic people were defenseless.”
