It would be an utter failure. The country is so polarized that people simply don’t trust/believe the other side.

It’s the same thing with talk radio. Each station is either conservative or liberal.

I think the rating of a show depend heavily on spillover from the previous show. If a conservative show is followed by a liberal show there won’t be much of a spillover and vice versa.

So... with the Left divided among CNN, MSNBC, Bloomberg, the networks, etc... and the Right only having Fox... that has made Fox easily #1 for cable news for years now. You're saying that if Fox leaves the Right, and someone else takes their place, the new channel won't be #1 easily? They have no competition for half of the national audience. It would be a massive success.
