The Murdoch-owned Fox News network has decided to shelve Judge Jeanine Pirro’s television show this week, after Pirro questioned Islam’s compatibility with the U.S. Constitution in a segment on Democrat congresswoman Ilhan Omar, an avowed anti-Semite.

Variety reports: “Fox News Channel replaced tonight’s broadcast of Jeanine Pirro’s weekly program with a repeat episode of its documentary series “Scandalous,” just days after the 21st Century Fox-owned cable-news network said it condemned remarks the outspoken host made about Minnesota Democrat Ihan Omar.”

Fox News did not choose to provide an explanation to Variety for their report.

They did not buy the news channel in the initial deal. There is a new deal set to close on March 20th. Supposedly Fox will set up a new News program plus one other thing. I would not underestimate Disney’s power before the deal closes.

Why not have ONE channel that presents the conservative side, to the multitude of lefty channels, presenting the left’s side? (This includes Fox.)

The problem with OAN is it only has 1 or 2 different shows. It is not a whole network yet. Blaze tv gas a lot more programming and is trying to become a network that can compete with Fox at least digitally and I think they have more subscribers than OAN.

There isn't enough news in the world to be reported that requires 24 hours per day.

If you have opinion shows on to fill the vacuum, then it shouldn't have the word 'News' in the channel name.

It would be an utter failure. The country is so polarized that people simply don’t trust/believe the other side.

So... with the Left divided among CNN, MSNBC, Bloomberg, the networks, etc... and the Right only having Fox... that has made Fox easily #1 for cable news for years now. You're saying that if Fox leaves the Right, and someone else takes their place, the new channel won't be #1 easily? They have no competition for half of the national audience. It would be a massive success.

Murdoch would not sell the thing that makes them the most money.

Disney would have anti-trust violations with the ABC News Departments. It would be similar to them having to divest the Fox Sports Networks due to conflicts with ESPN.
