Australian Senator Fraser Anning responded to having an egg cracked against the back of his head by turning around and slapping the perpetrator during a live television interview.
The Queensland senator, who previously called for a ban on Muslim immigration and is currently under fire for blaming New Zealand’s lax immigration policies for recent mosque shootings, was in Melbourne giving an interview to reporters on Friday when a young man started recording, then smashed an egg into the back of his head.
Anning quickly turned around and slapped the individual, who reportedly turned out to be a 17-year-old. Then he did it again before being separated from the altercation by a staffer.
The unnamed teen was subsequently arrested by Victoria police, then reportedly released without charges.
Other footage showed the aftermath, including the teenager being put in a headlock, then later led away by authorities.
“As always, left-wing politicians and the media will rush to claim that causes of today’s shootings lie with gun laws or those who hold nationalist views but this is all cliched nonsense,” the Aussie senator wrote via statement after the shooting.

He’s a great guy and his facebook page has been under attack for the last two days from the muslims and leftie scum.
Well deserved. The punk “egged” the Senator on and the Senator made him into a walking punching bag. Shame there was no jail time. Maybe a civil suit, n’est pas?

Unfortunately, and maybe it’s just the twitter feed, a lot of people are making a hero out of “eggboy”. I’m sure with that term, one can find a lot of references.
Don’t look now, but he’s a viral sensation, Eggboy. And no matter how one looks at it, he used an act of violence still in cracking that egg on the senator.
This kid reminds me of “The Hogg Boy” from Florida...

Also, you are hit with an egg, you feel something wet, you might think it was blood. The PM is being very stupid in this. I don’t know who this PM Morrison is. I remember their last PM some.

Murdering worshippers in a house of worship is not “vigilantism.”
Calling believers of any religion “fanatics” is racist.
If murdering Christians or Jews at prayer is horrific, so is murdering other religious people at prayer. We are all children of Gd unless our behavior shows we’ve turned from Him.
