Brenton Harrison Tarrant seems to have a zebibah or Prayer bump in the middle of his forehead. That is an honorable bump to have on devout Muslims.
After the attack I would bet that bump got larger.

Remember that mosque was a Maori Muslims is a variation of Ahmadi muslims which are the most persecuted Muslims in Islam. They're considered hypocrites and they're not even considered part of Islam and far worse then any other belief. Ahmadi muslim have left Pakistan and other Islamic countries trying to avoid persecution. We know he traveled to Pakistan and Turkey.

I just read below that the shooter had visited Turkey as well. Any more info on that would be good.
