I’ve lived with climate change my whole life, too, and that goes for every living being.

I’ve also lived through the Population Bomb/Explosion (we’re all gonna DIE!), the coming Ice Age (we’re all gonna DIE!), the rain forests are disappearing (we’re all gonna DIE!) plus other “disasters”.

I’m also familiar with the stories “Chicken Little” and “The Boy Who Cried Wolf.”

And as different as every one of those impending disasters was going to be, the solution was always the same: listen to and follow the self-appointed "smart people" who wanted to run your life, your country and your economy.

Don't forget "acid rain." Remember how that was going to poison all our lakes and rivers and eat the paint off our cars?

Or the Exxon Valdez disaster that foretold environmental Armageddon unless we immediately halted the use of fossil fuels?
