Absolutely not. The human brain is not fully developed at age 16, and from what I’ve seen of 16 year olds, they are not even responsible enough to do their homework let alone help determine our legislators and laws.

The question of a person's mental development caused my concern.

Pelosi’s acceptance of six-teen year olds voting in Federal Elections alarmed me. My alarm was the result of learning that Pelosi took her position based on political gain and not on the merits of the issue.

I want my representative to take decisions based on merit not political gain alone. This almost demands that discussions precede decisions.
