There was an Asian girl that sued Harvard and won a lawsuit for denial of entry. As part of the settlement, Harvard had to disclose the entrance criteria.

It was basically a points system. The biggest one was if the Chancellor personally put you on their list for entry. The second was if one of your parents was a Harvard alumni. The third was ethnicity and sex. The fourth was SAT/grades, etc. The last was whether you lived in what they consider a rural area.

So, if you were a rich person that could afford to buy your way into Harvard you would give a few million to the Chancellor and they name a library after you.

I know two females who went to Harvard on full rides. Both of them were “special” cases.

My adopted step sister is Native American and Italian.
She was raised by nice white Navy families on the Left Coast. Her grades were straight As. By the time she got out of Harvard around 1990 she was completely indoctrinated with a Sociology degree. She spent the remainder of the lives of her father and stepfather calling them baby-killers. She is a snobby entitled witch that still works for Harvard. She’s never had a job that wasn’t affiliated with Harvard.

The other girl went to school with my daughter. She graduated in the top 10 in her class of 900. She is a very very smart lady, majored in Biomedical Engineering. Not sure of her immigration status but neither of her parents speak English or went past 5th or 6th grade.

These two ladies got bonus points for ethnicity.
