Well, these threads tend to expand. I really don’t follow private detective stories that much outside of Sherlock Holmes. I’ve only read The Daughter of Time and, of course, loved Alan Grant. But I’ve never read any of her other novels.

This thread went off the rails from the start of it. It was supposed to be about Private Eyes, but a LOT of people threw in cops, and worse. Oh well...I do tend to be a stickler when it comes to "rules".

I think that you would like Tey's other books, because they're "veddy English". ;^)
