A large-scale scheme to cheat on college entrance exams has been busted by the FBI and federal prosecutors in Boston, according to court documents unsealed Tuesday.
The alleged scheme focused on getting students admitted to elite universities as recruited athletes, regardless of their athletic abilities, and helping potential students cheat on their college exams, according to the indictment.
The plot involved students who attended or were seeking to attend Georgetown University, Stanford University, UCLA, the University of San Diego, USC, University of Texas, Wake Forest, and Yale, according to federal prosecutors. There's no indication that the schools were involved in any of the wrong-doing.
In all, 12 people, some of them college coaches, have been indicted in the scheme.
Other than the hockey team, which won the NCAA championship a few years ago, Yale athletics pretty much suck.
Got it. I saw that athletic coaches were mentioned so jumped to conclusions.
How else would an idiot like Barak receive a law degree from Harvard?
Or, a hundred other lib politicians, for that matter.
Geez. Isn’t that the way the world works?

If you lived in Boston then you would not be impressed with Harvard.
Teachers of high school seniors here in Florida are having problems getting potential graduates...TO BE ABLE TO READ. No reason they should have gotten that far...unless they were athletes.
But they know all about social justice and transgenderism.
The University of Texas admitted relatives of State government officials and legislators who were clearly unqualified as political favors in exchange for favorable legislation and donations.
Yale men’s lacrosse won ncaa championship.
Really ticks me off. My son worked his butt off to get good grades. Took the SAT 3 times and took the best score. 5 Presidential scholarship offers.
So, is this how Chelsea Clinton got into Stanford?
Yale mens lacrosse won ncaa championship.
I watched Navy #1 at the time play B.U. ranked #12 at the time in lacrosse. Couldn’t have been more than a hundred people in the stands.
Lacrosse is not a money generating sport like football and basketball.
Lacrosse is a sport designated for rich white kids to pretend that they are Division 1 athletes.
Yale beat Duke. There were people in stands for that game.
So this is how Always On Crack got into Boston University...
BU men’s lacrosse was a club sport until 2013 14 season.
You are wrong. Lacrosse is a fantastic sport. You have to be a top athlete and most are at least two sport athletes in high school. Most lacrosse players are top academic students. I know male and female players at many of these colleges. Our black running back at HS played Div I lacrosse.
