Boy who died of asthma attack wanted two things: Be like Spider-Man and donate his organs

Very sad, a true hero will be rewarded in heaven for his gifts that will save lives. This must have been very hard for his parents to make this decision and I'm sure that decision saved and improved many lives.

I never knew that asthma was that dangerous and thought that it was controllable if the patient took his medications as scheduled.

They thankfully just recently brought back re-formulated Primatene Mist after having banned it for damaging the ozone layer - as if breathing the short puff of mist directly into your lungs can possibly damage the ozone layer).

The article doesn’t say anything about him being on a prescription medicine for his asthma, but I would think that he must have been on something, but sadly, whatever it was, was ineffective for sure.

I just ordered another batch, should last me the rest of the year. It works sooo much better for me than Albuteral I’ve had to use, plus I don’t get the evil eye from my doctor any more!

I worked in a big city ER for decades. I saw many, many people die.But thanks to our hospital being literally next door to a major pediatric hospital our hospital didn't have a pediatric service. So fortunately I never had to see little kids die. I was just *barely* able to deal with the death of adults....there's no way I could have kept my sanity watching little kids die.

****

Not Necessarily controllable. The new propellants mandated to ‘save the environment’ don’t work for many and make many worse.

And make big bucks to global pharma
