It is horrendously bad.
In fact, the two worst kid movies I have ever seen are...
1) Cat in the Hat - don't think anything will every top that
2) Lego 2
I liked the first Lego movie, but as soon as I saw 2 promoted RBG, there was no way.
... and it was so stupid the way they worked her in(and for all of 2 seconds).
Why was she coming to this wedding?
The entire plot was so convoluted.
Kids under 9 or so will not even be able to follow it.
I like good animation once in a while. I had heard so many good things about Lego #1. I went to see it and never did connect with the movie. I was adrift with nothing to pull me into the ‘story’. I left after about 20 minutes.
I usually know pretty quickly if I will enjoy a movie.
I may stay longer to give it a chance, then I’m gone.
That’s what happened when I saw Avatar. I kept falling asleep. I was out in 40 minutes.
A live action movie that surprised me in a good way?
American Hustle: 2015 with Christan Bale, Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence. It was fun and very entertaining.
I wanted to see it with my Dad, but just after it came out, he became ill and passed on shortly after. He would have loved it too.
Saw it during its opening weekend. Couldn’t agree more. The charm from the first time just wasn’t there.
Come on, it was four seconds. The kid I was with didn’t even notice.
From Toys are Us to Democrats are Us in all facet of our lives.
I have it up to my ears of this communist cult of idiots with issues at all levels of production.
Must be some corporate communist agreement to have workers bear the sins of the elites.

Same boat. Saw it promoted RBG and didn’t want to support that decision financially.
Was hoping Captain Marvel would bomb this weekend but unfortunately, it opened fairly strong. 150 million. Hope there’s a steep drop from there.
Went with 3 year old and 5 year old. They stayed connected for entire show. I loved the names used for places and events. The duplo meets legos was funny. Mama getin for armageddon still makes me laugh.
RBG Lego likeness is more lifelike then RBG as a human.
The only Lego clip worth seeing:

(Yeah, Eddie Izzard is a cross-dressing poofter, but this is still hilarious.)
I took my two kids, they loved it. Of course, they are 23 and 25, but you are never too old for Lego.
