A modern Guatemalan concrete or brick or drywall crew is not in my experience quite as good overall as the old white drywallers from before nor the old black masons and concrete crews where they once dominated and were top shelf at least in Dixie
They are cheaper and work hard but they need good leadership that pays attention
Third.....close to quitting time and lunch if you let them they want beer
Of course white workers are vaping pot admittedly

I don’t think all Latinos are libs are ....less than Jews and most orientals and blacks but at least 60%
Those from commie countries tend to be woke in our favor
Mexicans do excellent Stone work and terra cotta roofing ....more experience with it

I surely agree with almost everything you say.
I’ve got a large project about to start construction now and I know ONE thing. If ALL the Mexican Workers in Texas just suddenly quit and moved back to Mexico I would be broke almost overnight because there would be no one to perform select types of very hard work. You can have all the modern tools and materials you want but someone still has to sling a sledgehammer or put on a roof in 100 degree plus weather in Texas or the job goes nowhere with an interest and tax meter clicking that will eat your lunch.
Control the border (wall) and implement E Verify along with a system that allows these people to go back and forth and work legally without the freebies and without citizenship (unless they stand in line like everyone else) and without hundreds of family members trailing along behind them.
But, that’s common sense. Our Marxist/Socialist/Communist UN-Friends don’t want that. They want voters and CONTROL.
