The town is named after it's most famous local son Union General Phil Kearny. Formerly it had been known as "Arlington''. It's located in one of NJ northern countys known as Hudson County. Ever hear of Mayor Frank "I Am The Law'' Hauge? Check him out. Hudson County was and I think still is one of the most politically corrupt counties , not only in New Jersey but the entire country and it's all controlled by Democrats. I would venture to say only Cook( "Crook) County Illinois is worse.
