Some years back, I was part of a small cycling group, and one of the group was from the Netherlands.
One ride we broke for lunch at a diner. As he was looking at the menu, he suddenly exclaimed, “Look! “Dutch Apple Pie”! In Holland, we have no such thing!”
Not much cattle in new York either... But we’re famous for strip steaks somehow.
