It Exists: DOJ Finds Letter Ordering Scrutiny of Uranium One, Hillary Clinton
daily beast ^ | 3/9/2019 | Betsy Woodruff

After it claimed no such document existed, the Justice Department just unearthed a letter Matt Whitaker delivered to the Utah U.S. attorney directing a review of how the department handled the Clinton Foundation and the Uranium One issues.

Then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions wrote the letter on Nov. 22, 2017 for Utah U.S. Attorney John Huber. Matt Whitaker, who was Sessions’ chief of staff at the time, emailed the letter to Huber that day, writing, “As we discussed.” He also sent Huber a copy of a letter the Justice Department’s Congressional affairs chief sent to the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee on Nov. 13 of that year.

The existence of a letter documenting Sessions’ directive that the DOJ revisit probes of Trump’s top political foe is a surprise because a department lawyer said in court last year that senior officials insisted it didn’t exist. The liberal nonprofit American Oversight obtained the letter through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request they filed on Nov. 22, 2017––the same day Whitaker emailed Sessions’ letter to Huber.....

The November 2017 Stephen Boyd memo and the early 2018 Jeff Sessions memo tasked Huber to determine resources needed to investigate the Congressional criminal referrals. Huber was tasked to send his recommendations to the(recused)AG, Jeff Sessions, and the Acting AG and Deep State weasel, Rod Rosenstein, "as appropropriate". That's all he was tasked to do. You can make up the scenario that he's doing more than that, but that scenario is simply based on YOUR feelings.

Not exactly. My conclusions are based on evidence that you refuse to acknowledge or even look at. You have Toensig's statement from August 2018 and the verbiage in Huber's original mandate, and your FEELINGS as evidence.

You didn't offer me any evidence.

I gave you evidence that nothing was being done. The Sessions/Boyd memos, the Toensing statements, The Trump statements, The Session removal and the fact that nobody has been indicted.

Again all you have are your feelings and the elemenohpee guy.

Good luck with that.

Why have no doors been kicked in with CNN Cameras just lucky enough to catch it all?

That's a good question. What is your opinion as to why that hasn't happened?

And rule 804b regarding previous testimony is what? I’ll keep asking till one of you self anointed geniuses wants to venture a guess. But I’m sure you don’t cause you might accidentally realize how stupid it makes you all look claiming Ohr only testified to Congress...

Of course Huber could use congressional testimony. But that doesn't mean that Ohr was interviewed by Huber.

Your logic is utterly stupid.

The Justice Dept had previously investigated Manafort and declined to prosecute him.

Why didn’t Mueller’s boys just point to that?

Why Investigate?

Go into a Federal Court and get back to me.

Huber part was to silence calls for an actual investigation. The Obama Appointee was happy to do it.

We have a Prosecutor not acting like a Prosecutor.

Can you say Hillary?

Huber probably is meeting with Lorretta Lynch as we type.

But that doesn't mean that Ohr was interviewed by Huber.

There would be no need to interview Ohr if his Congressional testimony was all that was needed.
If all of the questions that needed to be asked were asked and answers
were given to those questions then what more do you want him to be asked?
Boxers or briefs? What is "is"?

Those were Comey's FBI doing the debriefings. That's the same Comey FBI that failed to interview Campbell in 2014, before Rod Rosenstein put on his Uranium One show trial.

A real investigation wouldn't rely on Comey/Obama FBI interviews.

That's "If" all of the questions that were needed, were asked.

That's a pretty big if.

I highly doubt that a normal FBI investigation wouldn't want to ask Ohr some follow up questions. Especially given the format of how questions are asked on a Congressional committee.

06-A78-DF7-BFA2-498-C-B848-C05-FD1243411 The DoJ Investigated Manafort and declined to prosecute him. Prosecutors don’t rely on old interviews, especially interviews not designed to produce an Indictment. To the contrary, the old interview is used against the Subject and unbeknownst to the subject. Mueller didn’t rely on old interviews and old decisions. We have a Prosecutor not acting like a Prosecutor. Just like Comey and Hillary. . .

Oh, I read what you posted to that poster.

A poster posts in post #115 that Huber is a Fraud because he hasn't interviewed Ohr. He supports his claim by posting a link to an article that supports his claim

You in post #134 respond to that poster disagreeing with that poster's post. You say the following.

And now you claim that you never said that Ohr was interviewed by Huber.

Try to follow your own conversation, dumbass.

The FBI investigated Uranium One before Trump got into office...everyone was granted immunity and hard evidence was allowed to be destroyed....just like the Clinton email scandal.

Those were Comey's FBI doing the debriefings.
But there were debriefings/interviews...right?
And the information from those debriefings/interviews can be used in a case as long as the statute of limitations hasn't run out...right?

You seem to be of the opinion that all FBI agents under Comey's tenure were corrupt.
Is that your stance? Isn't that a rather broad brush?
Do you believe there were no honest agents there at all during that time?

A real investigation wouldn't rely on Comey/Obama FBI interviews.
Because everybody, top to bottom, was corrupt...right?

I never said Ohr spoke to Huber you derp dolt. I said
He didn’t have too, because of rule 804b try harder troll
+++++++++++++++++

This is what I said troll.

Quoting the other article nice try

“Department of Justice official Bruce Ohr has not been contacted by special counsel Robert Mueller or U.S. Attorney John Huber for interviews.”

So tell us genius, what is rule 804b regarding previous testimony especially testimony before congress?
++++++++++++++++

But seriously you clowns think Mccabe is the only one that will or has been brought before a grand jury. Or do you try and pretend that didn’t happen too?

https://www.npr.org/2018/09/06/645308583/grand-jury-looking-into-case-of-ex-fbi-deputy-director-andrew-mccabe

Prosecutors in Washington, D.C., have impaneled a grand jury to look into the case of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who was fired from the bureau after investigators found he “lacked candor.”

The Justice Department’s internal watchdog referred McCabe to the U.S. attorney’s office to determine whether he should face criminal charges in addition to having lost his job.

Prosecutors and grand jurors are reaching that determination now.

+++++++++++++++

Hmm I wonder who the internal watchdog is. LOL
