My travels in limited portions of Africa (East Africa and southern Africa) don't make me an expert on anything...including the areas I've visited. But the "native" Africans I've had contact with were far higher on the societal ladder than those punks. They were people connected to the tourist industry and were all at least reasonably fluent in English...and some were fluent in French,German, etc. They struck me as hard working, decent people...people who, given the chance to come here, would be far more valuable to this country than are at least some of our so called "African Americans".
Just sayin'....
Thanks for that insight. I agree 100%.
My sister’s an RN, says that the Kenyan and Nigerian nurses she works with are outstanding compared to the typical young American nurses....and one heck of a lot more courteous as coworkers. But these are nurses educated in English-style schools in their home countries, so their schooling is simply better than our public schools.
