A blast from the past. I had forgotten this series even existed. It was so campy, it was cool.
Original UK Airdate: September 16, 1970 | Production Order: 1
It didn't age well...
That’s the cheesiest mess of cheesballery I’ve ever seen. I don’t remember this at all and it was from “my” time.
I have had the UFO series since you could get them a DVD love it

If UFO isn't your cup of tea, try SPACE:1999. Made by the same people.
Big fan of all the Gerry & Sylvia Anderson shows

Captain Scarlet

And especially loved the end credits song for Stingray
Thunderbirds are Go!

S.I.G. (Spectrum Is Green)
Is that the one where the aliens always put the joy buzzer to your neck, and then you had a “cerebral hemorrhage” and died?
Don’t forget the ill-fated Canadian series The Starlost.

Created by science fiction writer Harlan Ellison, it had great potential, but utterly fouled it up. It used some of the same models as the Bruce Dern movie Silent Running. Realizing it was going to crash and burn, Ellison got out before the first episode aired. It starred Keir Dullea of 2001...
It had some great guest sci-fi stars: Sterling Hayden, Walter Koenig, Barry Morse, John Colicos, etc.
It used miniature sets, with the actors blue screened over them.
Even as a kid I could tell both that it had great potential and worthless execution. It needed better writers.
“Supercar, it’s the marvel of the age”!
Good ole Gabby Drake.
Cool concept. Somebody should reboot it.
The Invaders, where the advanced Aliens can take Human form but they still can’t figure out the crooked Pinky thing.
He played a man with antibodies that cured everything, and he was pursued like The Fugitive by a super-rich hypochondriac who wanted his blood.
I think it only lasted one season.
