MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. - A school bus assistant yelled at a student to remove a red Make America Great Again hat, then grabbed it off the teen’s head, video shows.
Gunnar Johansson, 14, wore the hat as part of a March of Dimes fundraiser that allowed students to wear a hat of their choice for making a donation, WPTV reported.
The school bus aide, who has not been identified, tells Johansson to put the hat in his backpack and repeatedly tells him to remove it.
“Boy, if you don’t take that hat off this bus… take it off. Take that hat off… take that hat off…” she is heard saying in the video.
“She, like, threatened me with a referral and threatened to turn the bus around. I said ‘write me up, I didn’t do anything wrong,’ and then she yanked my hat off. It was crazy,” Johansson told WPTV.

This is the logical end result of letting an elitist ideology be exempt from criticism.
They’ve had two generations of people being told you’re smart, moral, educated, good because you’re liberal ...
And now they believe their PR while thinking that it is assault to hear contrary worldviews, that it is an actual attack on them and fellow believers to hear evidence contrary to dogma.
That’s what it means when they say you’re invalidating my existence (you’re attacking my sacred soul), you want us extinct (you’re killing us).
This is the liberal incarnation of blasphemy laws. That it is an attack on all sacred believers to utter contrary views or try to convert us.
Following Islam’s example, they can then kill the critic or convert away as a threat to the social good. That it is a literal attack on all believers to publicly leave the faith, so they can kill you for dissenting.
School aide needs to be removed from the job.
In addition to being fired and sued, put the school bus aide on a nationwide child abuse list for assaulting an underage child.
When I was a kid, if the school had a rash of bad behavior, the principal would bring all the students into the gym & warn them of the consequences of future incidents.
Seems to me that every school in this nation needs to have a similar meeting with all school employees, to outline the consequences of violating students’ rights to free speech.
Clearly, even college educated teachers don’t understand the rules, much less an ignorant bus monitor. They need to understand that if they trample on students’ rights they can expect to be fired for cause, the school & employee will be sued, & the taxpayers will pay all the bills & judgments. Surely even a moron could suppress his political fanaticism given the consequences. Anyone who can’t isn’t fit to work in a school.
As a taxpayer who shares in the cost of this gross stupidity, I demand that employees be warned & violators be fired immediately.
Another reason not to put your kids in a public indoctrination center or the indoctrination bus.

I recall a time when aid’s weren’t needed. Now, given the policies of public education, they transmit aids!
