IIRC, the (female) pathology technician was "dismissed from the Forensic Pathology Lab for observing and reporting the "lead shower". And the X-rays conveniently disappeared.

What they didn't know is that she took 35mm photos of the x-rays while they were on the "light box".

I have seen those photos.

The .45 caliber hole was in the top of the skull, and the lead shower was behind the (IIRC) left orbit.
