IMHO: Guaido is the legal President...from little I have read, very little really, I would say that Guaido is the legal President...don’t know where this other person came from unless he is part of the AOC group...

Thank you for your reply...I am devoting some time before work today, as I will be bone tired when I get off and right to bed with me...

Thank you - now all clear! I can be quite dense sometimes and need stuff spelled out loud and clear to grok properly.

RE: who's the boss in Venezuela?

“On January 11 the National Assembly announced that by law a transitional government led by its president, Juan Guaidó, was responsible for calling for new elections within 30 days, but that they needed to retake power. This motion was not considered a coup d’état based on the acknowledged “illegitimacy” of Maduro by many governments, and the Constitutional processes that the National Assembly were following.[32] Specifically, they invoked Articles 233, 333, and 350.[33]

The Organization of American States were the first to give official support to this action, stating that “[they] welcome the assumption of Juan Guaidó as interim President of Venezuela in accordance with Article 233 of the Political Constitution. You have our support, that of the international community and of the people of Venezuela”.[32] Later on the day, Brazil gave their support to Guaidó as President of Venezuela.[34] “

I believe that the US has indicated that they consider Guaido as the Pres.

And Venezuela has been without power for 98 hours. That means no refrigeration, no air conditioning, no elevators... The present (illegitimate) Pres. has decided for the 2nd day in a row that businesses and schools will be closed tomorrow.

The power is out because (supposedly) one of their main transformers is down. I regard this with high skepticism. I think the Pres. has decided to crush his people. He has already called out the military to defend him and bend the people to his rule.

So, who's in charge of the Venezuelan station of the CIA?
