Osage Orange wood was used by American Indians to make Bows, therefore “BoisD’Arc”

I have a feeling that is a myth. I don't speak French, but I think Bois means forest or trees, like bosque in Spanish. Hey, a Q storm. Slide over!!

Still here lurking. I’m in PA dealing with my mom, who’s not in good shape but I get a respite from dying dog for a weekend.
