Dollar Tree is the place to go for greeting cards and for reading glasses. Pretty good reading glasses for $1 per pair.

Family Dollar is a bit overpriced for everything. It is more like shopping at a 7-11.

Dollar General is a good store, sort of positioning itself halfway between Dollar Tree and Family Dollar.

“99c Only” is the best dollar store in “FR Country”...Dollar General not so much. For groceries “Grocery Warehouse” is decent...just watch the exp. dates.
