Oh, by the way, I thought international airport designation was based on whether the airport has any scheduled flights that leave US airspace. That’s why in border areas you sometimes see a little rinky-dink prop motor airport with ‘international’ in the title. In the middle of the country, it pretty well needs must have long runways to service aircraft capable of leaving US airspace.
