“Am I???”
OK. Take a deep breath and relax.
All is well.
I have been in multiple earthquakes — ones you FEEL — and it is VERY RARE to be in/near an earthquake that does a lot of damage and/or kills good folks like you, HarleyLady.
I live in a county just North of YNP and have a certified (Montana lingo here) water right of #12,xxx. All water rights with a lower number have precedence to my right.
Water right #1 is Yellowstone National Park, so you understand I am close to the Park.
There are quakes ALL THE TIME in the YNP region! In fact small quakes are GOOD! Small quakes release pressure. When there is a long period of FEW quakes it’s likely that pressure is building...
I seriously doubt that a few quakes in your region will touch off the San Andreas fault or the YNP Caldera anymore than this quake did (BTW we were camping at ‘one of the nearby’ campgrounds mentioned — the biggest quake I’ve experienced):

If this quake did nor set off armageddon, than I’m pretty sure you are safe. But what do I know? I’m just a crusty, old Montanian...and I prefer Ducati’s.
I lived in Montana for the first 24 years of my life, born the year after Hebgen. Seems like every person in Montana knows that earthquake. I have seen pictures and it was devastating.
