Thanks. Unreal this stuff goes on. And nobody fights back against it. What really really ticks me off is Republicans had both houses and the WH for two years and they allowed the Democrats stomp all over them like a mini dictatorship, as if Republicans didn’t even exist.
IMHO, most of them are all the same. They’re all puppets. The small handful that aren’t are labeled as the fringe, “that don’t really represent the party”, and they aren’t acknowledged as anything more than that. They may not represent the party, but they damn sure represent their constituents.
I was never a supporter of term limits. Always felt that people should be paying attention, be willing to give someone else a chance and, more importantly, the incumbents should say it was time to go home and not grow roots in DC. But now, they are needed like never before.
Limit the amount of time they spend in DC.....take their salaries and give them a stipend for when they’re in DC, like a per diem...rent them a room in a hotel instead of living there....damn sure take away their pensions....and get rid of the 17th Amendment....make sure they have to go home and see their constituents in the grocery store every once in a while.
It’s disgusting what we’re allowing these people to do, both parties.
It boggles the mind.
