I dislike the current trend of skyscrapers being a sort of vertically-oriented amorphous blob. There’s no compelling functional reason for it and the aesthetics are not great either, they’re just doing it because they can. That building will look horribly dated in a decade, like all those pink granite towers from the 80’s did.
Developable land in the biz district is very pricey and unavailable so there is that factor in building vertical
