I’ve been getting 12-15 telemarketing calls a day since the first of the year. I used to get 1-3 a day. Thank God for the silencer feature on my iPhone.
This guy keeps calling me, but I don’t know who he is, his name is “Scam Likely”.
“”I’ve been getting 12-15 telemarketing calls a day since the first of the year.””
Reminds me of the in-person, door-to-door, busy body creeps, especially near an election. Sometimes they try to look so officious with their clipboard and lanyard. One time, I noticed them nearby and made ready for it. I arranged my own clipboard right next to the front door (no lanyard). When they knocked, before I opened the door, I grabbed my clipboard and pen. As they began their spiel, I stopped them and asked for their name and company. They were surprised by the clipboard, and that I wrote down the information that they provided. I then asked for their Social Security number. They were very taken aback, but I pressed on, insisting that in order to proceed any further, the Social Security number was essential. They eventually left. Waaaaay too much fun.
I had one scammer message me the other day, asking me to call him back. It seems that I had a suit being levied against me for tax evasion. I assume that if I called him back, I would need to give my account information, so that a money transfer would end my troubles.
If I called him back, I wouldn’t give him my account info. I would ask for his account info, so that I could help other people to resolve their troubles as well. :-)
Wrigley Field! Right outta The Blues Brothers!
I think I’m gonna give ‘em 1265 Lombardi Avenue in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I’ve been there. It’s a lovely piece of architecture. I even took pictures.
